Traditional or novelty christening cake? That is the question that most parents seem to be asking themselves at the moment, the answer I am hearing more often is novelty. There seems to be a trend for most parents to desire a christening cake that reflects the emerging character of their child, the cakes being selected most often are based around a child’s favorite toy, TV program or the wall paper theme in their bedroom! Parents also seem to be choosing a main cake (mainly for the adults at the celebration, and then matching cupcakes that can be given to any children attending the christening, this is a great idea and makes everyone feel special.
